Land Urbanization Quality in China: Evaluation and Spatial-temporal Variability

Based on the construction of an evaluation index system for land urbanization quality, this paper evaluates and analyzes variability spatial-temporal in quality during 2005-2015 China. Results shows that: (1) Among three aspects sustainable development capacity scores highest, follows, land-population coordinated is lowest. (2) The China generally improving, spatial distribution has a "gradient difference", showing pattern high east low west. In conclusion, to improve urbanization, all should be considered comprehensively; each region combine its own conditions formulate strategies improving urbanization.
